PRIVATE PRESERVES

One of the most unique aspects of the Sanctuary is the Private Preserve. Ranging from 2+ to 13+ acres, Preserves offer space for a variety of lifestyles, whether the desire is for privacy or room to grow.

The lives imagined, described and illustrated here offer insight and inspiration to the array of possibilities for living at the Sanctuary.

While they have no children, they do care for her father who lives in a small cottage on the property. He is a gardener and star-gazer, spending his days tending his vegetables and his evenings watching the skies from his observatory.

Having four children, ages 3-10, is an adventure for Carrie and Chip. And, knowing they have a safe haven means less worries as he travels for his job. When home, Chip likes to practice his putting and be outdoors with the kids. Carrie cherishes quiet time in the cabin to write. Although they love watching movies together, the children delight in the outdoors. When they tire of swimming, they play in the tree house. Best of all, they have room to explore the forest.
